MEMBERSHIP

Section 3. Membership in the club may be obtained as follows:

(a)        Any pigeon or dove fancier is eligible for membership. Membership is open to any person, of any age, or either sex. Application shall be made to the Secretary. Every fancier, upon joining, shall advise the Secretary as to his name and address, phone number, and the names and varieties of pigeons or doves kept.

(b)        Charter membership dues shall be $10.00; Annual dues shall be $5.00, single, and $7.50 per annum for family membership. Voting privileges will be granted to all family members upon reaching the age of 16. Junior membership dues will be $3.00 per annum for individuals under 16 years of age with the exception of those already covered in an active family membership. The fiscal year of this organization begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 of each year. Annual dues are payable during the month of January. After January 31, any member in arrears shall be deleted automatically from the membership list. Any new member who shall join the TPDC by the payment of dues between October 1 and December 31 of any fiscal year shall be considered a paid-up member for the succeeding year. This courtesy does not extend to old members seeking reinstatement. Any member whose dues are in arrears is not eligible to vote in club-sponsored activities unless they shall have been reinstated by payment of their dues at least 10 days prior to any event in which they intend to participate.
